The Tex Engineering team is made up of engineering, design, account and administration professionals. Across our six divisions and four service areas, our team work hard to maintain our long-term relationships with customers, and are committed to ensuring we remain leaders in our industry.
David has worked in the industry throughout his career. Having started with an apprenticeship with ‘Bristowes Machinery’ he ascended the ranks within the BM group, from manufacturing, to design, production and sales. David’s extensive experience in, and knowledge of, the entire market gives Tex Engineering a great momentum for future innovation and development.

Group Sales Manager
Wayne has been working alongside David for over 30 years. They began their apprenticeships together within Bristowes Machinery/Braham Millar/BM Group, they progressed through the ranks taking on senior positions, buying and selling businesses, while continuously gaining invaluable experience of the industry as a whole. After having developed Bitmen Products and Trojan Asphalt Mixers, these brands became part of Tex Engineering and a core on which to build the business. Wayne is now an ambassador for both the company and customers alike, providing an environment for future development.

Depot and Hire Manager
Sean has been working for Tex Engineering and associated companies for over 20 years and is based in Chorley, Lancashire. Coming originally from Bitmen, Sean oversees the aftersales department for the group. Having completed a City & Guilds qualification in mechanical engineering before joining the company, Sean is best placed to lead this area. The aftersales team is known for its ability to solve problems and keep customers up and running.

Mixer Division Product Manager
Colin joined Tex Engineering in 2012 having worked extensively in the industry for a range of brands over a number of years. Colin has worked with Wayne and David throughout his career and joined Tex Engineering to develop a new venture within the company. Colin is overseeing the development of a complimentary range of mixers that will enable Tex Engineering to service a wider spectrum of construction requirements.

Garry has worked alongside Tex for many years, supplying equipment trailers. Following its acquisition in 2011, he has strengthened the RM brand and developed the range further covering a wide range of industries, whether recreational, commercial or military. Garry’s in-depth knowledge of his sector exemplifies why clients enjoy long-term relationships with the business as they have access to specialist engineers and product designers who believe in their work.

Peter came to Tex Engineering in 2010, having worked in similar roles for a number of companies in this sector. His experience in project management, planning production and product design are well respected in the industry and make him an important part of the Tex Engineering team.

Engineering Assistant & CAD Operator
Terry is a skilled engineer who joined the company in 2015. He has a strong attention to detail and a passion for finding the best, workable solutions for customers. It is his ability to communicate these solutions in a simple and manageable way that make him a strong asset to the Tex Engineering team.

Business Support & Accounts Manager
Angela is a key member of the Tex Engineering team and has worked for the group since 2006. With a broad experience of office management forming her career history, Angela is instrumental in the management of the company’s accounts, internal technical support, HR and customer service.

As office administrator, Wendy takes care of a lot of the daily business at Tex Engineering. Having joined the team in 2008, Wendy looks after workshop documentation and administration, credit control and sales ledger, ensuring continuity between branches.

Danny started work with Tex as a skilled Welder. However, with his wealth of knowledge and experience across all workshop disciplines he has been able to progress further. With an eye on detail and on awareness of cost effective product techniques, he ensures that the factory functions and delivers.

Billy joined Tex Engineering in 2014. He has progressed from the workshop where he gained knowledge of the complete company’s product range, which is invaluable in his role as Sales Support. He has attained a wealth of practical knowledge and coupled with his enthusiasm, has made him a valuable member of the team providing an interface between sales and production.
Apprentice Engineering Support
Ed joined Tex Engineering in December 2017 as an apprentice office junior. Since joining the company he has spent time with the general admin team and is now working and supporting the production/engineering department. Ed is receiving training in-house and is on a NVQ level 3 training course.
